Brake problems?

Hi guys, I have a 2007 silver yaris sedan. When my car is slowing down and before I am about to stop, a noise comes from my front left (driver side) tires. This noise sounds like something is stuck while rotating with the wheel. However this noise does not appear all the time, only when I have been driving for 30 min or more. I do not know what it could be. Brakes? or something else?

Have you taken the caliper apart to see if the pad springs and the pads themselves are properly seated? It Would also be a good opportunity to take the rotor off to look for any pebbles that might be trapped. I posted a thread on here about a small rock that was stuck in my rotor. I Included a video to show the noise.

You've checked that wheel, right? I would have already jacked up that corner and taken the wheel off to see what's going on. Possibly something stuck to your rotor.

I had a grinding a few years back and discovered that one of these clips that slip onto one end of each pad had broken. Piece of it stayed lodged in there and was scraping against the rotor.
