New 3 door in BC

Hi everyone...One month ago I received my new Blazing Blue Yaris RS 3 door hatch. Since then I have installed 2 JBL mid-range tweeters in the front doors, along with 2 - 6 and 1/2 inch Sony Xplod 3-ways in place of the originals. The original rear speakers were replaced with 2 Sony 6 x 9 - 4-way Sony Xplod units along with an Infinity Bass Link sub in the place where the lousy spare wheel used to be. Sound insulation in door and quarter panels was added, along with complete undercoat and seam sealer. A battery maintainer was hard wired in along with an oil pan oil heater. I love this car, and with just over 1000 km on it, it has averaged 5.9 liters per 100 km. I also switched to Mobil 1 synthetic 5W-30 engine oil. Cheers, Demijohn

Thanks for the welcome gentlemen. I have only one picture so far, taken with one of my other rides, a 1978 Honda civic. It is interesting comparing them. They are the same length, get the same economy - a slight edge to the Yaris tho', and are both fun to drive. I love my Yaris......Demijohn

^^^^ I like that shot! After some indecision, I finally decided if I do get a liftback it will be Blazing blue! Unless Toyota comes up with a cool green color, Blazing blue is it! Looking sharp!
