+1. I liked how the Yaris was small, but yet roomy inside. I liked the image of a micro car although the bigger body might be more appealing to some people. Guess we'll see! Doesn't look too bad, definitely more aggressive looking than a rolling egg

Are you saying that's a 2016 Gen 4, since apparently the 2015s are shown here http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50668

Looks like an even uglier Matrix. YUK! It's no wonder Toyota sales are down. Toyota definitely needs a new design chief.

there are 2 versions of 2014 yaris / vitz that i know, the one that you post is the SEA (South East Asian) & China version....... which is kinda ugly

sedan version (vios/belta) which looks much better than its hatchback version IMO

meanwhile, this is its japanese 'handsome' brother.. seriously toyota?!

This is a conversation that has been discussed many times now. Pretty much everyone agrees that Toyota has botched the line.

Looks like a Camry and probably as big. Cars always grow in size until they are monsters.

I remember when the Camry got 40 mpg!

There are no reasons for Toyota to bring the Yaris Sedan into N/A, since we have a the Corolla which is similar sized and specific to our market.

Perhaps the Canadian market is different, but in the U.S., people buy small sedans. I know the Versa sedan didn't sell well in Canada, but it sells extremely well here in the U.S., and there are plenty of examples of subcompact sedans selling alongside compact sedans:

-Nissan Versa and Sentra.
-Chevrolet Sonic and the Cruze.
-Ford Fiesta and the Focus.
-Kia Rio and Forte.

39, you're comparing other brands. If you're talking about the Versa.. for some reasons, Nissan has been doing incredibly well in creating a segment of cars that sit inbetween..

I'm not saying sedans don't sell here.. there are plenty of small sedans in Canada, but the Yaris is pretty much just as big as a Corolla, and the 2014 Corolla sells like hotcakes here..
