October 2015 Yaris Sales: Down

October 2015 Toyota Yaris sales were down 25.4% compared to October 2014 sales. Toyota sold 519 Yaris models last month in the U.S. Overall Yaris sales, however, ares till up a healthy 45.5% compared to 2014, at 16,054 units.

FYI, the Scion iA, aka Toyota Yaris Sedan in Canada, sold 1,977 units for a total of 4,012 after two months of sales.

Checking out the sales figures was interesting. Schlock cars like the Soul and I think Versa are selling like 100k plus a year so price appears to be a driving issue. BUT the Fit is doing 45k a year whereas the Yaris is at 16k. As I understand it a Fit is more than a Yaris so I would think the Yaris should do better or at least not so poorly. A Yaris and Fit being high end subs more or less equal.

Am I wrong?

Look at the standard equipment even in the base Fit.
