I got a little spray paint happy...
Needed a break from studying for finals, decided to buy a bunch of paint...the end result is an Ikea engine bay ;) FWIW, the plastic is sprayed with about 4-5 coats of engine block paint. The hoses (intake and coolant) were all sprayed with plasti dip with about 4 coats. There was a lot of confusion online regarding the durability of plasti dip on hoses. I'll post back in a couple months and let you know if anything changes, as of now it seems very durable with hose movement. |
