Does anyone kno if the oem header gasket fit the megan racing header? Also if u do run he oem gasket will it be a loss of power since the gasket diameter holes are smaller than actermarket?

Since the exit ports in the head don't change in size, it shouldn't matter. I've seen lots of people reuse that gasket, I usually just pick up a new one, they are very cheap.

Thanks garm. If that's the case then what makes the headers better than stock if the exit ports are the same size?

You can bolt on a larger, open flow axle back way at the back and extract a couple of horsepower.

In the same way, opening up the exhaust and collecting with a freer flowing header will generate more power. On the intake side, the intake does the same thing. All of the bolt-ons add a small amount of power, and none require head work.

(Although a port and polish on your head would generate some that's for sure!)

Summary: You are more powerful when you're not constipated.
