wow really afe ?
noticed a slight rattle while stopped in drive. checked intake; the bolt or "joint" of the metal air box is snapped (where it mounts to the battery) *refer to photos*
its obviously not fixable and i doubt i can get just a replacement metal box. should i even bother contacting afe directly or mi for that matter ? i dont know if this even has any type of warranty. im not mad it just sucks it must have just took one to many bumpy rides in bk or nyc. what could i do ??? AHHH oh well and now i doubt i could even sell it who would want an intake with a broken mounting clip

go to a hardware store and buy an L shape bracket, paint it black and attach it to the metal tray and the battery ....I think that'll do the job :P

drilling with a small bolts would be more secure ...as long as you have enough clearance between the tray and the battery

Yeah, I'm running an SRI and no heat shield, if you're just going to toss it out, I'll pay for shipping to get it here and make it work.
