Hood gasket
After I got done washing the Yaris the other day I popped the hood and noticed there was water all over the place. I was trying to figure out how in the world it got there since there is no way the water would make its way through the radiator and condenser. I looked around and came to the conclusion that it made its way through the gap between the hood and the front bumper.
Cars usually have a rubber gasket that seals that area up. When I looked at the hood I noticed a series of holes where a gasket could be attached. Makes me wonder if that is yet another part that Toyota removed for the U.S. market. I am definitely going to pick up some gasket material next time I am at the store.
