I like believable stuff. And Forza did just that during game conventions and when displaying on show floors...

There is an extra 30 tracks available after punching in the redeemable code when buying a new Forza 3 copy excluding the tracks on disk 1 and 2.... that's plenty enough for me :)

i hope GT5 wont be like that, just good old progression in the game will reward you.
The redeemable code is on a placard inside the game case. You pay for the game retail price, not for the bonus. It's an incentive from Turn 10 to people to buy a new copy of Forza 3 rather than sit and wait 40+ days to get a used copy with some trade-ins...

Not

couldn't you just buy a used copy with the placard in the case also?

You could, that's if the previous owner had a halo over his head and returned it w/ the game and case.... But most toss it, lose it, or keep it stashed someplace...

PK - all good dude.

Are you taking about GT5 or Forza?
GT5 producers designed the gauge program that works on the R35.

I think it more has to do with Gran Turismo having so much more experience. A lot of car companies don't want to share their name with video game companies if they think it will poorly represent their name. It took 5 games for them to get Ferrari on board and Im not sure if Porsche has even finally gave in yet? lol ( gemballas are cooler anyway ) im sure forza is a cool game but when u watch how much work developers put into Gran Turismo u cant help but be faithful

The cards are one time use only. Card wouldn't do you any good if the first owner already downloaded the stuff.

I'm reserving judgement on GT5 until I can actually see a full released copy. Until then I'm happy with Forza3.

thread jacked

forza 3 owns gt5 and for one reason only. because i can play forza 3 right now and we still have no fing clue when gt5 hits the shelfs, granted when gt5 comes out i will more than likely buy a ps3 just to play it.

now getting back onto the subject, has anyone else picked up forza 3 yet? if so what cars are you rocking? and yes the Fujimi is the greatest track ever!

i gotta say that forza has the sounds and interiors right and vehicle specific. gt has always giving all the cars the same generic sound. in forza when you drive from in side the yaris u can turn the hud off and really use the true instruments.

whooppee, what's your standing car at the moment?

Did anyone else feel that the placing of the clutch on the left bumper is hard as hell to work with?
And the Yaris almost gets its ass whopped by the Ford RS...

I'm working on the Skyline R33 at the moment..not far into it yet~

what do you mean standing? so far i've only bought the yaris, dropped like 80,000 Cr into it(feels like what ive done in real life) and i've also bought a skyline, but i cant remember which skyline i bought. but the skyline i dropped in an AWD twin turbo engine making 400+hp i think.

im playing on my friends xbox right now. i preordered the call of duty xbox with the 250 gig hard drive so i still have like 2 or 3 weeks before i can open my live account again

I meant current car....
I was just asking because supposedly based on what you buy/own, the calendar varies...Forza said no 2 calendars are the same for the season races...

I've mostly been working with the Evo X and an NA Miata. I've got the starter Yaris tuned pretty well for FWD events, though.

As for the event calendar every time I've finished an event it's given me a choice of three weekday events and selected which of the weekend championships to start based on my current car's class. That alone would give you a lot of variety.

I bought a Subaru right after my 3rd finish of the C class championship with the Skyline R33.... and it prompts me for a rivalry race between the Evos...lol

Fun, but very long game...this is my money saver for winter break :)
