I'm still the looney one.
I plan on getting Volk Racing Ce28N wheels sized 14x5.5. They weigh only 6.5 pounds. I plan on getting 205/60 14 tires to mount on them. The lightest tires in that size still weigh 15 pounds.

I plan on getting Axis Maglites. They are lite and are also discontinued, but I know someone who has a set and wants to get rid of them.

Because the stock 14 tire size is 175/65.
Even I acknowledge that the tire is the only thing on the car that touches the road. Tires are too important to just go with what weighs the absolute least. Besides, Toyo tires just seem to weigh the least for some reason. At least of the few tire companies that have the guts to post tire weights. Plus, it seems that 205/60 will have the least effect on my speedometer. I'd go to 225, but I think they would be too wide.
