ZPIracing Yaris Exhaust
ZPIracing is really excited to be working on the Yaris platform. We feel this could be a great platform if given some more power. This is where we come in!!!!
We have just released our first part for the Yaris. The ZPIracing exhaust below is a link for you guys to check out. We pre-built a bunch of these today so they are in stock and can ship next week. This is not a preorder of any kind. http://www.zeropointindustries.net/s...roducts_id=316 If you have any Tech questions or future product questions or ideas please feel free to post up or get me on AIM, email, phone soup can, what ever we are here to help. Thanks -Kenny |

And furthermore, why don't you say something about this turbo kit I've heard about... with the intercooler mounted under the car! Last edited by ChinoCharles; 02-02-2007 at 09:24 PM. |

I don't think the intercooler is under the car... I think the turbo is. Mounted partway down the exhaust stream to keep the turbo itself away from the ECU on the firewall. I think...?

Since ithis one is 51mm tubing, it probably won't be obnoxious. |

would 51mm (2.0in.) tubing allow sufficient cfms of exhaust to prevent backpressure on a turbo application?

yes it will support the type of power this engine is capable of putting out. Over 250whp you may want to step up the pipiing size but for 90% of the market this is all that is needed. We will run this on all turbo applications that we do for this platform.
I do not have DB ratings for the exhaust. DB ratings are very subjective because it all depends on relation of the testing device to the rear of the vehicle, very easy to manipulate the results either way. We build parts that we use on our own cars...and we do not drive riced out 93 honda civics..:) so I can assure you the exhaust will have a nice note and not make you the laughing stock of the car club. We do use straight thru mufflers for increased flow but they are dual chamber units. I will try to get you a video clip up this week so that you can hear for yourselves. I am not sure on hp increase we did not dyno the car before or after. Looking at the design of the stock muffler I would say you will see an increase in the upper power band. I would not expect to see huge gains from this system as it retains the OEM cat and resonator. We will release a mid pipe to go with this part..this is where you will see large gains in power. If you have any questions let me know. Last edited by ZPIracing; 02-04-2007 at 02:31 PM. |

I did over a week ago. I haven't gotten it yet, just an email exactly 1 week ago saying it's being built. No email saying it has been shipped yet. I thought they had these ready to ship??? Twice I've emailed them with no response. I'm starting to doubt their customer service.
