Can a TC fit in a Yaris

Just a thought i had. Now that i have seen some Scion Tc with rear end damage going for 1500-2000 that run and have a MT. might be an idea to ponder by swapping the 2.5L and 6 speed int a yaris and see how easily the increase would make for quite the fun upgrade. plus the larger aftermarket parts distribution.

Just a thought it had, wondered if anyone else had had it too?

I'm pretty sure it's too wide. The 2ZR and 2AZ are both available in the Matrix/Corolla, but that's a much wider engine bay. That said, don't let me stop you from trying it. ;)

nothing a little cutting ans welding cant fix. might have to make the front clip out of tubing to make the swap possible. maybe even take the whole harness and modify it to fit in the yaris.

Doesn't the TC have the same 2.4L that came in the Camry and Solara?

yes and it is easier to find a manual transmission in the TC version, the Camry did come with them as an option but not a common one.

Question is, why would you want to do that? The tC is a much better car than the Yaris. Just swap your own ass over from a Yaris to a tC and be done with it!

I thought the trend nowadays is to just LS V8 swap anything and everything. ...so why even bother with a tC.

The Ls4 is a candidate, but seems hard to find a complete one.
