Cheap but functional hoodpins?

Just wondering if someone knows of some inexpensive but functional hoodpins. I have a pair here but the pins do not slide in the retainers well enough to be useful. I would also prefer steel as well.

Thanks for any input (even ones to avoid).

Cheers.

Are you racing your car that you need hood pins? The hood is very small.

Thanks guys. Not for the Yaris, it stays in H-Stock
I'm building a car similar to a Seven, or Locost. The hoods (yes, plural; To fit around the blower) are only held on by small Dzus and I don't like the thought of one of them coming off and taking my head with it (no windshield). So want some beefy pins to ensure all the bits stay together.

Racerb, those pins operate smoothly?

Garm sells excellent hood lock equipment. It is too damned late for me to recall the name, but I bought mine through him. I picked up the CF skinned ones. I will have to have them installed when I want to go over 175. I was pretty much intending to install them since I will be able to go over 150 the next time I race.
