First Gear grinding - Toyota Yaris Forums

For those that have had that issue do make sure to take it to the dealer and complain. At first they mentioned about not downshifting into first if moving but it shows right in the owners manual that it is ok to do. Do not let them give you to much crap. In the midst of having that taken care of now. Monday going to call for an update to see where they are at about setting up as they put it "a special tech" to take a look at it and for a drive.
