but i still enjoy the yaris...its zippy enough

but more fun in the corners than a straight line, thats for sure

My Scanguage II has a digital tach built in. I prefer an analog dial for a more realtime response though.
The scanguage tach tends to lag annoyingly.

and it shouldn't..

but banging a hampsterwheel into it's Rev Limit still is bad for it...

thus the 5spd SHOULD HAVE COME FROM THE FACTORY WITH A TACH..

but toyota is cheap as FK...

I think if I put my A/T into "3" it just keeps climbing the rev ladder. I tried it but stopped since it seemed to keep going and going......

Get the part number for the S cluster.
or why bother? ive been driving without a tach for almost a year and i havnt had any problems. The car has a unique feel. the engine smooths out in the high RPM just before fuel cut. or 28-31 mph.

I have had no issues driving with music full blast balls to the wall.

also toyota is not cheep as fk. you get what you pay for. throughout the years mitsubishi, dodge, toyota, gm, all have been putting out cars with no rev limiters and no tachs.

Same here. I can't hear my revs when my system is bumping.

No rev limiter and no tach? What if some retard over revs and blow the motor? Are they gonna cover it under warranty?

My John Deere lawn tractor has 25% of the HP this car has stock.
Whether you like what he says or not you have to admit that unless you put in some serious mod money the car is a small economical gutless commuter car that will get smoked by just about everything else on the road, its main forte is mpg not mph.

thats the power tapering off when you dont have mods...and that happens several hundred rpm before redline...
