Side skirt molding

I been searching for this thread I saw about side skirt installation.

I have an issue with mine. Dirt is getting caught in between the skirt and the body and its beginning to build up causing rubbing when i open and close the door. I need to take them off again and clean them up.

When I put them back on I wanna use some type of black filler to avoid dirt getting in it again. Also has to be easily removed without damaging the paint

I remember a member "annn" had some stuff they used or someone posted on a thread about it. I just cant find it.

Any idea's?

not what im looking for. I got them installed. I am just looking for something that will fill in the gap between the side skirt and the body panel. Like a caulk that is black perferable.

I sealed all of my body kit join areas with black silicone rubber, and taped the "caulking" areas VERY CAREFULLY to make sure it was going to be straight and parallel lines. I really like the outcome, and all the "dulling" areas where the movement occurrs, is not visible anymore, and all the fittings are tight and secure. The look is a whole lot more like a professional install rather than like an amaturer did the installation. Just my 2 cents...

I was thinking about using something like that.

I like that idea too.

If anyone else has another way or just wants to put thier 2 cents in, please do. I'll try to get a couple pictures up of how mine are looking this afternoon
