Anyone have pics of the scangauge II tach installed?

If so, I'd like to see them. Thanks.

Its not a tach. What part of Ohio are you in? Anywhere near Akron?

EDIT: Just go here and look around.

What do you mean it's not a tach? I thought there was a tach kit avaialbe for the Yaris? I'm in Huber Heights (which is a burb of Dayton).

It has the tach feature. I think CC rider was interpreting your post as it was only a tach?

See that little amber glowing box? That is a Scangauge. Correct me if I'm wrong but your RPM gauge on the Scangauge would be a quarter of that box. Its very small. Great system for monitoring things like oil pressure and water temperature on a budget, but a lousy choice for a primary tachometer. I assumed you wanted a tach that you could easily view while driving, in which case you'd want either something analog or something with a larger display.

That is the tach I chose. Large enough to see without a telescope but small enough to not clutter the dashboard of such a small car. Also, it was a measely 90 bucks, which is about what you'll pay for any small analog tach.

How many revs do you turn at 70 in 5th gear?

First concert I ever went to... Kiss!

grampi, there are 450 tachs to choose from at summitracing.com. That particular one is an Autometer Sport Comp series.

I'm 48 (49 on the 31st) and glad to see that youguns aren't the only people interested in the Yaris. I know when I get one, people are going to say stuff like "isn't it cute", but who cares. I drive 3000 miles a month and I need something that's extremely good on gas. Besides, I don't have the certain body part envy that drives so many people into buying apartment buildings on wheels.

BTW, I'm still pi$$ed at myself for never seeing Kiss when they were all the originals. I saw them in '84 or '85 and they were without makeup and Ace and Peter. Still good though.
