ok my car got backed into over the past weekend and i am just now putting it back together and now that its back together the passanger side headlight bulb is really dim and weak....i looked and noticed that some wires were exposed on the loom connected to the bumper so i cut those and re-wired with solder and wrapped up really nicely and it still didnt fix it.....its not the bulbs i checked. brand spanking new as of last night. what could it be? help!

Check the voltage & ground at the socket, if the voltage is low back probe till you find the problem.
Any pictures of the wiring?

I dont have any pics of the wiring before I soldered the cut ones....the bulb is in the right way, I even took the bulb from the other side to make sure it wasn't the bulb. I'm not very confident when it comes to wiring or any type of electrical work....so with that being said if anybody has a suggestion please explain what you mean.

Another not is I followed the wiring back and tried to find anything out of the ordinary and I couldn't......im just completely lost lol

Get you hands on a multimeter and measure the voltage on the black wire with the headlights off (put the other meter lead on a chassis ground point).

well i feel like an idiot....i over shot the problem and didnt check what was easiest and also cheaper to replace.....it ended up being a fuse not relaying enough power. thanks everyone for the help!
