How to take off crank timing sprocket

150,000mi 1NZ FE engine has been making noise lately under the timing cover. I replaced the water pump and it was still rattling mostly at like 1800RPM.

I could afford to ground it for a few days so I bought a new timing chain kit complete with the sprockets.

The old chain compared to the new was pretty identical. The gears showed very very slight wear.

I decided i'm just going to change it anyway to rule out an issue. My new issue is I have no idea how to take off the crank sprocket.

With the timing kit they gave me a sprocket that's barely over the crank end and way too small to get over the second lip where the installed one appears.
