Halo ring size
Hi! I have the spyder projector headlights and I wanted to ask if anyone by any chance knew the size of the halo rings on the headlights. Been looking everywhere and even contacting the spyder company but I havent been getting any info. I dont want to pop my headlight open yet I really dont have time. If someone knows please let me know.

I'm not sure about those particular lights, but I have 60mm on my TRS kit projectors.

Why do you need replacements? I have the same lights, so I'm curious.

Because I hate how it looks. I wan to buy the ccfl halo rings and start the project of swapping the halo rings. Ccfl rings are way more brighter and you can see the ring during the day. If you by any chance know the size please let me know.

I don't know the size. How did you contact the company? Maybe try calling during their business hours if you have time.
I agree with the lack of brightness from the halo, I am planning to put brighter leds behind the halos. I just have to get around to getting the dim ones out lol |

I always get confused between the two. What is the difference between the Halo's & Projector Lights other then the design?

projector lights is the lens that the light comes out of. It projects the HID to specific area, if you don't use a projector lens with your HID bulbs the light gets scattered out like your high beams are on.
Halo's are the ring that is around that projector lens. Used with your driving lights. It looks really cool. It come from the BMW's, I think they started it, standard on all of theirs now. The confusion comes when people use Halogen bulbs to refer to HID bulbs. Halogens were a big thing before HID's got main stream. Halogen bulbs are your standard bulb but produces a more clear, brighter light than your standard bulb. So there is a big mix up when people think that halogen bulbs and HID bulbs are the same and will call them Halo projectors thinking that they are referring to HID

The sedan and the hatch have different headlights. You'll have to buy the ones made for your car.

I think the product was for a 4dr hatch, not a sedan.. Would that still be an issue?

Ah ok. People usually call that the 5 door. I think the 3dr and 5dr hatch both use the same headlights.
