Just picked up my 2009 Abs. Red 3 Door Hatch!

$13,000 out the door with CP/CQ package, floor mats, arm rest (which I hate). That price included 5% MA sales tax, and all dealer fees. I also got 5 years 0% financing. Needless to say I'm happy with the deal :D

Only downside, I already found a tiny paint chip on the hatch (REALLY tiny). Oh well, touch up paint, or put a badge/sticker over it.

I'm looking forward to stripping some weight out of this little guy (most of the back is already out, I've had it for 5 hours :D ), and throwing some suspension bits and new lightweight wheels/tires. Should be an awesome little commuter/back road car. This Yaris is a radical departure from my past cars (GTi VR6, WRX, Evo) but I think it'll fit right in when I'm done with it. You can't beat the MPG, decent chassis, and very low curb weight.

Anyway, I've been on this forum for a little while, and it seems like a good bunch of folks post here. I look forward to meeting you all!

I also debadged it as soon as I got home, chopped the antenna down, and removed most of the back seat area. Once I get those silly external torx sockets I'll remove the entire back seat/frame. Bye bye 100lbs :D

Welcome. It is indeed a fun little car. Sounds like you got a great deal as well.

0% financing is a big bonus as well.

Obviously it has a small fraction of the power, but power is not the point of the Yaris. Even bone stock the car can still be tossed through a corner at surprising speeds. I've found myself grinning ear to ear after a good run of my local favorite roads. I'm VERY much looking forward to installed the TRD rear sway that arrives tomorrow, as well as the new lightweight 15" wheels and Falken RT-615s.

Overall the car is what I hoped for, and I feel it will be a great commuter car.
