2012 sedan stereo kit
I have a 2012 4 door and am confused. I am getting differing results as to which kit to use for a single din stereo.
Also is there a kit that would work with both a single and double din? What wiring harnesses will i need? It has the pt546-52111 stereo in it now and i would like to replace it. It's not a bad stereo but i cant get it to switch to ipod control. When i unplug the ipod it says "bye bye ipod" but nothing when i push the button. Thanks!! |

As far as I know, Metra has one kit for the yaris that contains single and double din. Should cost about $12. It's all plastic, so I like to use a couple of hot glue stick, ass to reinforce it, also cuts down on vibration buzz.
$100. Pioneer will be your best bet for USB iPod control. Pioneer makes around 5 models for under $150. You just need to figure out what you need from the HU, such as HD radio, BT and such.
