NF210 versus TRD springs

Am I right to say....

1) NF210 are more comfy than TRD springs ?
2) NF210 often bottoms out due to their softer spring rates ?
3) NF210 hardly rides any different from STOCK ?
4) Its hard to tell the difference in ride between a DF, NF and TRD spring ?
5) NF210 handles not much better than stock ?
6) NFs are by far the best compromise for looks and ride quality.

Pls answer the abv questions, elaborate if u can. It would be great to hear from real owners. My car is coming in 4 days!

Black Yaris, 15 inch alloys, rear toyota spoiler, leather seats. I paid USD$35 grand for it though. Taxes are expensive here.

I have had NF210's on for 8000 miles.
1) Yes.
2) I have NEVER bottomed out (bump stops cut 1 inch).
3) No, more firm.
4) No, TRD ride the most harsh.
5) Much better than stock IMO. Huge improvment.
6) Yes, but not quite as good of handling as DF or TRD.

My suggestion is to pick the amount of drop you like (TRD=-1.2, DF=-1.7, NF=-1.3). Then, if you like 1.2-1.3 inch drop, decide how firm of ride you want (NF=firm, TRD=very firm).

Thanks! Strange that TRDs are stiffer than DFs. If the DFs are soft, they must be bottoming out very often. Not much travel left really. You've sat in Yarises with all 3 springs b4 ?

I drive a lot on the high way and yes, I do sometimes come with holes on the road...what would you suggest?

Now that I have NF210s fitted, and my buddy has TRDs fitted... here's my take.

The TRDs are just a teeny weeny bit lower in the fronts, and the NF210s are noticeably lower in the back. The NFs have a little less space at the top of the wheel - fender the at the corners. If my buddy is reading this, I'm sorry, but I like the way the NFs look better.

Ride wise, TRDs felt very similar. If there is a difference, it would be in the rear. The NFs are a little more comfy in the back. TRDs are by no means harsher than the NFs as some have claimed.

I dont think the 5% increase in spring rate is true. It felt more like 30% - 40% stiffer. I wouldnt go for DFs simply because... the ride comfort for the NFs are barely acceptable by my standards. A boxster, WRX STi all rode better. It felt like it had too little travel. My fats were jiggled all over the place and I'm hardly fat.

But... its a materialistic world out there. Who looks better. Wins! at least on first impression.

I suppose that means me (the buddy). I suppose TRD=TTE, because my springs are Toyota Team Europe springs. I guess in an ideal world I would prefer to have an equal drop front and rear. It is quite obvious the front is lower on my car, whereas nurburgring's car is an equal gap.

The lower front ride height of my car car technically brings the car CG forward a bit, resulting in a slightly more front biased handling stance, assuming everything else equal.

Like I said, I'd like an equal drop too, but at least my springs are black. :P

FWIW, I have not seen any car with a cooler stance than Cleong's. Tastes around here seem to lean towards more severe drops, with lower relative rears, but if the TTE springs were available in the U.S., I'd definitely be considering them. Since they're not, the TRDs will have to do.
