Well, TRS still has halos on backorder. Car is still torn apart in the garage. At least I've gotten some painting done though...

I decided to go with wheel color for the kit. The paint was cheaper and I just liked the idea of 2 tone. I'll be clearcoating this one today, and possibly starting to mount it.

The wheels are 16", I can't remember if they are 16x6.5 or 16x7.5. The tires are 205/50/16.

One skirt is done. 2 coats of primer, 4 coats of paint, 3 coats of clear.

The other skirt has 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint. I'll try to finish it up today if possible. Everyone in my family is out of town except me this week so I don't have anyone to help me install it though :(

Finally got around to redoing a bunch of wiring under the dash. Rerouted all my boost wiring through conduit and then up under the carpet to the center console. Not related to this really, but since the car isn't drivable at the moment it was a good time.

TRS shipped my halos last night though, so hopefully I'll have some projectors installed this weekend.

Will this housing being so close effect the cutoff any?

Cut off shouldn't be affected, but you may get a black spot(s) from where there should be light output closer to the car. Cut off is half way up the projector.

You'll be fine. Sedan headlights are too small for most projectors without a lot of work.

Yeah, this whole process has been quite a bit of suck.

I stuck everything together just to see how it worked and this is what came out of it. I'm guessing that's not really how it's supposed to look.

Try reinstalling them. Maybe the rubber grommet/washer/spacer thing is twisted or something. They are pointed WAY too down.

Yeah the housing isn't actually mounted, it's just sitting in the car so I expected it to be pointed down. I just wasn't expecting that weird jaggy line.

The projector is oriented correctly, but I didn't see any indication of left/right.

There should not be a driver and passenger side projector. Only LHD and RHD projectors from what I've seen. What jaggy line? The step is the cut off, so that way you don't blind on coming traffic, and throw out more light towards the passenger side. Only problem I can see, now that you mentioned it was just sitting on the car, is trying to seat the bulb better. If the cut off bows up or down towards the ends, the bulb isn't seated as best that it can be. I'm not sure if it's just your driveway or not, but the left end looks like it's bowing upwards slightly. For me, that isn't a big issue since it's just slight (mine is like that too, and I got frustrated so I left it as it is now).

You can set it up like this where the driver and passenger side cut off's stack (has two "steps"):

Or the conventional overlapping way (has one "step"):
