Tanabe Medalion Touring or....?

Looking at:

TRD
Tanabe Medallion Touring
Tanabe Medalion Concept G

Do any of the axle back exhausts do anything other than exhaust note? Do they actually add hp?

Not much at all. More about sound and style.

I highly suggest the touring medallion for a mature sound and excellent build quality. The TRD exhaust stuff for the american market is made by Bosal and is not made as well (regular steel core rusts out then the innards blow out the tailpipe)...but hey its shiney!

I have the Tanabe Medallion Touring on two of my Yarii. I like the way they sound quite a bit more than the ones with the stock mufflers.

Im looking at buying a Touring and hitting them up for a small sponsership since Im near LA, apparently they need video's of clean cars sporting their stuff and revving it out.

Lol, I may have to edit my post, a couple of those I never heard of and don’t think could even pronounce.

I ordered from autohance yesterday and amazingly it was delivered today. (Maybe not that amazing, also got my coil overs from them and those came the next day too).

I got the Tanabe installed yesterday. Initial impression after driving to work and back today is that it’s louder than I anticipated with a tone that is definitely on the deep side. Not sure if there’s a break in period with this axle back, but yesterday right after install it was all drone, today it seemed to mellow out a bit. Not sure if that’s just my imagination or if it’s actually happening.

Does anyone know if tenable makes a medallion for the 2015 5d se? I cannot seem to find a part # listed for it. This is the exhaust I have mounted on the 08 3d. It is awesome.
