My wife asked me if I wanted to move to CA.. I told her we'd have to live in the city cuz I didn't want to deal with all the fires.
She said what fires... I turned on CNN... 'nuff said?' Nothing against all you in CA.. I deal with DFW because i have to. Moving to a place with Earthquakes and the Annual Fire.. .. Not my cup-o-tea. I'll just deal with the 3 months of scorching heat in the summer and the WAY high electric bills.. We also only get one maybe 2 days of snow.. Other than that.. TRAFFIC TRAFFIC TRAFFIC... At least that is predictable

Earthquakes, wildfires, man-eating sharks, rampant celebrities, small price to pay...

You forgot the aftermath of fires in the winter: mudslides. Those are always fun
I don't know bout you guys, but I'm starting to get tired of the news on the fire. Whatever happens, happens. Big deal...

its either the fire or something about what is happening in the Middle East .. I'd bet that the folks reporting the news on all the 24hr news networks heads would explode if they stopped talking about the same thing over and over..

Earthquakes, Fires, Heavy Rain, Floods, Mudslides, Traffic, Smog, Riots, Drugs, Crime, Paris Hilton... Oh, I LOVE L.A.!!!
It's never a dull day out here. There's always something going on. : ) ...speaking of which, Michael Jackson is buried here in my hometown of Glendale. I just live a few blocks from Forest Lawn. Talk about horrible traffic. The Paparazzi is everywhere here today. Lots of fans though. |

not our fault we got pyros here! most of our fires are arson.. as long as u live in an area that isnt tree/brush heavy, usually u wont catch on fire.. and iv lived in cali for 17 yrs and only felt 2 small earthquakes.. i will take fires and earthquakes over hurricaines, tornados and humidity with crazy heat..
