8 Year Anniversary of my Turbo Yaris!

Hey all!

I'm not around much these days, but wanted to drop in to celebrate having my Yaris for 8 years as of this month. In addition, its been 5 years and 3 months since I successfully turbocharged the Yaris. I've since put on about 22k miles to the 41k total (yeah, I don't drive much ). I think the most unbelievable part is that, even with a heavily modded engine, the Yaris has still maintained an above average level of reliability (not to mention it's a blast to drive and still gets 32 mpg+ lol).

Here's what she looks like these days. I'm pretty satisfied with the look, and have no further plans of modification. Bar maybe getting lightweight seats, this is a finished project.

Also, I feel I owe this community a major thank you. If this place was as toxic as most other forums, I feel I may have never built such a great car.

Congrats! I always did like the Yaris sedan a lot, and it's customization/upgrade potential. It was the only other car that I was really considering (used of course) if I didn't purchase a 2015 SE.

If only the Scion iA could look as good!!!

Happy anniversary. Looks great.

Did you cut your front license plate to match the front bumper? Interesting.

Yes, lol. Otherwise, it covers a large portion of the intercooler.

Congrats. Gives someone who is new to the Yaris some positive inspiration to build something 👍 for some reason all the pics aren't showing up for me 😔 which is annoying as the preview one looks amazing! Good job!!!!

Hey Mugen,

I contacted Zage direct. They quoted $1200US + freight and charges. Coming to Australia, total was $1444US. I would then be up for import duty as well.

Cheers
