PCV VALVE ON 1.0 TOYOTA YARIS 2008

Can anyone assist in locating the PCV VALVE for my Toyota yarris 1.0 2008 . A image of where it is would be appreciated.

I can't cut from this doc. But if you follow this link there is a diagram on page 89 showing the location on a 1KR-FE:

Back of the engine behind where the oil cap is there is a hose that goes in. Take the hose off. It goes into the PCV valve. I take mine off and squirt some carb cleaner through it every time I change the oil.

cleaning

I don't believe you need to clean it every oil change, once every 6 months should be sufficient IMO. It's just a block valve that works with positive pressure, if it raddles when you shake it than it's good to go.

How often do you change oil? I do it every 8,000 km (approx. 6 months) and I think I am a freak. Your post suggests that you change oil even more often...?
