maybe the local's can appreciate this....mel's diner burnt down last month

i thought to myself, HEY there's a big exposed slab-on-grade a block from my work with a cool checked floor - - time for pics!

had to get a bit creative getting up onto the concrete, but im happy i took the time to snap some photos
