2010 sport package on 07 3 door hatch
Happy new owner of 2007 blazing blue 3 door hatch..Would like to order the 2010 Sport package (front lip, sides, rear lip)..Can someone please confirm if the sides and rear will fit? Was told I will need the 09+ headlights and 09+ front bumper to be able to run the 09 S front lip? Sides and rear the same
Thanks in advance Last edited by DeathBeard; 06-18-2010 at 12:26 AM. |

You MAY need the '09+ rear bumper as well. I believe the taillights differ not only in design, but shape as well.
You do know there was an S package for the '08 hatches as well, right? No need to change lights with those. -SAV

Yes, like the lines of the 09 kit more.. the rear should work being that the rear is just a lip that goes around the bottom right?

There are holes drilled for those lips. They aren't just stick on bits, even though they look like them. Hence my suggestion that you may need '09+ taillights as well. Unless you're comfortable just drilling/punching holes into your bumper for the tabs on the lip kit.

Dealers I have called seem to have no idea of how to get the part numbers for the 09 S kit

i think you'd have to get the whole bumper to make the 09+ lip work on your car...
im not certain you'll need the 09 headlights.....unless you mind having a gap beside the headlight and bumper (since the 09+ headlights go towards the grill a bit...

Garm (Micro Image) would be a good place to start. If he can't get it directly, I'm sure he knows who can. The S body kit isn't something normally installed at dealers. They would have to order it and it would then have to be fitted and painted.
And you will need '09+ headlamps, unless as was noted above, you're okay with what would be poor fitment. See if somebody with an '09 or '10 may be willing to do a front fascia swap, as there aren't a lot of aftermarket headlight choices for us '09ers since we have that bump in the headlamps. -SAV
