Fluctuating fuel gauge
Hi, I’ve got an ‘01 Yaris, just hit 120k and all of a sudden the fuel gauge is going fluctuating from 3 bars to empty, after only just putting petrol in. Has anyone else had this problem? If I use a fuel cleaner like Redex will this help for the next few cycles?
Any guidance is appreciated. |

No not yet. I tried the redex/Carlube this morning and it seems to be working at the moment. MPG has also increased, so fingers crossed

I had a fuel gauge problem at 80K. Not quite the same problem, however, I used Lucas a few times and it fixed the problem.
