I got my 794 for under 160 brand new, them sites are good if you're looking for the warranty though, For the price i paid , if it last me a year it'll be worth it. Which i doubt i'll have any issues at all, i bought my jvc used and i had it a year and a half with no issues.

@ Palmer : How do the Scoche ones hold up,(ipod cable ) i noticed that the apple store carries them and wal-mart has them as well. I did some research on the generic ones you can get for 5 bucks but they said that they're not an exact fit and over time can wear out your connector on the bottom of the Touch.

Question 2 : Is the major difference from the 794 and 994 the bluetooth and the display ?

I haven't tried the Scosche cable. Yes the only differences between the 794 and 994 is bluetooth and color changing display.

The JVC's are pretty good sellers. Not bad $$ for 24 bit D/A performance. Out where we are Kenwood tends to sell more because of ease of use.

I've pretty much decided I'm going to order the KDC-X994. The price is in my range and I can't seem to find a comparable HU for the same $$$'s. Hmmm, my Tundra needs some new speakers, after 10 years, it's probably time to upgrade them!

Smile The deed is done.

Just ordered the Kenwood and two sets of Polk Audio db651's for my Tundra. The Polks are on sale, buy one pair, get the second pair at 1/2 price. Free shipping, no sales tax! Yaaay!
