Push the rear seats as far foward as they will go then fold them down. Flip over the cover and it should be flat.

Myabe it's only the 60/40 seat people that can do it. Or you're simply not pushing the seat ALL THE WAY foward, as far as it will possibly go, or it will not work. (all the way!!!) hahaha

I DON'T have the 60/40 seats and my rear seats do not move. In Canada, if you bought the RS version, then you would have them. I kinda wish I did, it looks like a handy thing to have!

I don't think my rear seats slide at all but I have the plastic flaps that come out to cover the rear just like yours. :(

Yeah, that's actually an advertised feature of the 60/40 - It folds all the way flat, whereby the bench and 50/50 don't.

Everything on this car pops off. The only place I have found screws so far is a couple holding on the bottom of the front bumper. The top has pop caps, as well as the entire interior.

If you remove your lower glovebox (just pop it out too), you can check and see if your car has an A/C filter installed. If not, you might want to go buy one from your local auto parts store -- or make one.

The change holder in the driverside glovebox holds exactly $5.50 in quarters. LoL

Some people don't know we have a tow hook. It's underneath the rear cargo deck in the LB, with your lug nut wrench. On the passenger side front of the bumper, you pop off the round cap and screw it in.

The Yaris doesn't have a little flippy door thing covering the opening of the gas tube. A while ago someone was really bothered by it, but I guess it's lower in the tube, near the tank.

Instead of hitting the power button to turn your stereo on, you can just hit the function (ie. CD, FM/AM, Auxillary) and it will turn on to that.

I always wondered what those flippy things were.

To show my age, when I was in high school, I worked in a gas station PUMPING GAS FOR CUSTOMERS. I remember when these bizzarre vehicles started coming out using unleaded fuel with those little flippy doors and narrow holes. People used to hack off their catalytic convertor and ream out the hole so the leaded nozzle would fit.

Who else remembers this?

Wow, my sales rep told me there was no provision to fill the gap. I will admit I still haven't figured out where that flap is to cover it. Wish there was a pic with the seat up and an arrow to it. Probably spend all day tomorrow figuring this out.
