Insurance and the Yaris...
Why in the world is the new yaris insurance so expensive? Its as much as my impreza.

Because its a brand spanking new car with hard to find parts if you just so happen to get in a wreck, wait a few months and it will go down. You could also try searching for the best deal.

Progressive. They quoted me for 173.

US $202 ??? Are u kididng?!?! I pay only AU$49 / month for full comprehensive insurance! LOL .. I feel sorry for u guys .... I WOULD be paying more like AU$160 a month if i had a WRX :P

Here in Saskatchewan it costs me 108$ monthly, plus 28$ for my package policy which brings my deductable down to 100$ and includes free glass repair.

My insurance went up only 300 bux a year and I was paying 80 a month. You do the math, I'm too lazy. I have a class 1 though so that deducts quite a bit off my insurance in Alberta. Oh yeah, and I'm only 24

I was estimated $800 a year in the communist state of Ma. Meaning the state tells them what to charge and they cannot deny anyone insurance.
It means it should be the highest rates around.
