16x6.5 with +45 offset on 195/45/16

HI, Was wondering if any one knows if 16x6.5 with +45 offset on 195-45/16 lowered 1.5" will work with out rubbing and with no spacers? as I have been told by the local tire shop that they will rub and need different rims with different offset?
Thanks

They will not rub!

As a matter of fact, you can run 205/45/16's with that set-up.

I think there's a difference between "won't work" and "we just don't know, so we're saying you should buy something we're more comfortable selling you."

They will sit tucked in and look crappy.

That shop doesn't know what they're talking about. That combo won't rub. It will look similar to one of my old set ups, but be more "sunk" in

16x6.5, ET45, 205/45/16: FRONT - Nicely tucked, but not that "sunk" in appearance. REAR - far more tucked, but you use spacers if you like to balance things out.

Just had a look at the back of the rims, it's got 40p4100 so would the 40p mean they are +40 offset? Not 45 like the shop said.? And if they are +40 will 205 45 16 be ok with no rubbing.?
Thanks

No problem. Go for it.
The only rubbing you'll experience is chafing on your balls.

I hope it's pics of the wheels, not your balls.
