squeal on startup (audio)

I have a squeal whenever I start the car sometimes it wont be very audible but it doesnt it most times. since you can't put a sound on here as an attachment, Please goto http://public.me.com/n9qgs go under Toyota Yaris and listen to Squeal.mp3

Now the facts, I had the Belt changed by a local garage and took a toyota belt that I had purchased from the dealer, the squeal started a couple weeks after the belt was installed.

Did they possibly install it too tight, loose? is it what they call glazed, do I need to replace it, maybe have someone else put it on. I would like to not have the car make people stare when I start it. haha

It only ever is audible on start up, never squeals at any other time.

Thanks for your help, Ron

Have the garage recheck the tension. Probably needs to be tightened slightly.

I agree. Probably just needs to be tensioned a teeny bit more. If the belt is brand new, there *hopefully* shouldn't be anything wrong with it.

I would always have to tighten the belts in my pickup truck in the winters. Squeal like a freakin stuck pig. Haha yes the stares that I would get at say the grocery store were hilarious.
