2012 Yaris LE Windshield Washer

Good morning,

I am new to YarisWorld and just want to say that this forum is an amazing source of information.
My 2012 LE hatchback does not appear to have a very effective windshield washer jet system. Passenger side windshield does not get cleaned very well.
Has any other 2012 owner experienced this problem?
Thanks.

Yes, it just doesn't have much thrust from the nozzle. Its kinda like its supposed to ride down the wiper blade to the right but just can't quite make it. If you let the washer run for 10 seconds or so it works..

I've always wondered if the system is correct on my 08 as there is just a mist that erupts from the base of the wiper but no direct water jet to the window.

I tried adjusting the spray nozzle with a pin. There appears to be enough pressure as the spray goes well beyond the windshield. I need to do a bit of tweaking to get the stream to cover enough of the entire windshield.

Theres a small screen in the reservoir that will need cleaning from time to time.

If you use the anti freeze type washer fluid, it will get gummed pretty fast.
