Looks good :)!
I'm thinking of mounting an iPhone dock somewhere, maybe somewhere in the dash in front of the steering wheel all flush like.

I find it very fitting in the Yaris... People spend ass-loads of money modding a car that can't even have half the potential of an equally-priced factory car... OR, they just spend it all on flashy stuff and ricer accessories...

I had already watched the first one on the screen earlier that day. I'm on Tokyo Drift right now... That just happened to be the time when I had the camera handy.

Is this the unit you ordered? Does it fit in a 2008 yaris HB sold here in the USA?

beware of fitment... alan1828's sample didn't quite fit right (look at bottom edge/gaps and anything else around the bezel).

Just make sure theirs isn't from the same batch as his. Also, what OS are they running? any pics of the GUI interface?

Wow. I like the one that comes with the slanted controls better for sure but the fitment worries me.

Anyone can confirm or deny that the gaps were fixed on subsequent models?

1 thing I didn't like is that it doesn't have Subwoofer outputs. I plugged the RCA's for my sub into the Rear speaker outputs (since I have no rear speakers anyway it works).

overall I think my sound system does sound better, definitely looks a lot better and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Will post pictures tonight.
What? I thought the RCA dongle thing had line outs? Are you sure there are no line out's for an amp powering subs?

.
I don't have DVD player, or GPS integrated in my HU but I do have 4 RCAs

1 for Subwoofer
1 for Low frequencies
1 for Mid frequencies
1 for High frequencies

I guess it's just what you give up for Sound Quality, I wish there was a way to have the best of both worlds!

I think he meant a dedicated sub-out.

But the unit does have both spkr-outs harness to factory spkrs *and* low level line outs for an amp/crossover (see diag below).
