If only my speedo was that accurate...
I suppose it doesn't help that the previous owner fitted cheap tyres that are somewhat under the correct diameter. They are supposed to be 175/70x14 (standard Australian size) but the diameter is more like a 175/65x14. hopefully I will wear this set out soon... I'll take a guess and say that app looks just like DigiHUD.

The speedo is always 'dialled-up' a bit my manufacturers so you do not drive too fast. Usually it's a 2-3mph difference. And with the tyre wear, all those errors taken in, your's is pretty accurate, especially for an analogue one.

KevinJ are you sure that 14" is the original wheels, in Europe it has a 175/65/15 steelies as standard ( just bought a 2nd Yaris 2013 pre facelift 1,33).
And in Australia the base model also have that size now. http://www.toyota.com.au/yaris/speci...r-hatch-manual |

Yes' they are the standard wheels.
This one was built in February 2012. The Australian model lineup has the 2NZ-FE in the base model, and the 1NZ-FE in the more upmarket models. The 2NZ-FE version was fitted with 14 inch wheels and 175/70x14 tyres. The 1NZ-FE versions get 15 inch wheels with 175/65x15 tyres, . I bought my Yaris as a second car, but prefer driving it to our "main" car, a Toyota Aurion Which was bought at the same time.
