I want a 93, preferably a coupe but if it's in good condition I"ll take it. Who doesn't love a good silvia.

As far as I know they don't come in that size, I checked like crazy on google for them otherwise I would reconsider the slipstreams.

i approve, although if you dont mind spending the cash, you can get a 225/50/15 Toyo R1R instead. should also fit well on that wheel. That R1R is supposed to be the only tire better than the star specs, but i think they are a bit more expensive.

i love my star specs, ill be buying another set of 195/15/15's soon. they were great on the track/autox/street

no idea... check out tirerack.com to see if they have anything to say about that. i would imagine they are fine, they look like they would be due to the tread pattern.

R1R's are on my car, wow they are amazing. I figure they will last 4 months.

So I'm torn between these two setups:

-Megan Racing Coilovers

or

-Tokico HTS Adjustable Shocks & Tein Springs

The coilovers are about $60 more expensinve and have to be lubed frequently so they don't corrode in the winter, but are stiffer and will give me the exact drop I want.

I've decided to go with coiloves, now I need to find good ones. My limit is 1k, i'd like to get something that can drop 2.5" - 3" and is rated about 5-6k all around.

Wait for my car to be done in another month so you can see how it looks and if you like the look of the old school VW style, it will look just like that dub stance wise....3" drop on 15x8 bassetts 19mm offset with a 185 stretched on them for show.Rolled and pulled fenders along with -3" camber in the rear and -1.5 in the front.

nom nom nom... I already know I'm doing a 2.5-3" drop on 16" maxims 16x7.5 +35 with penguin spacers in the rear. My thing hear is coilovers, Some people say the megans are good but some say they suck. I'd spend $100-200 more for something that is a bit better like BC Racing coilovers or H&R coilovers or Tein Basic coilovers.

I absolutely love that VW. Sadly though, it would NOT last long in Michigan with that kind of drop :(
