That's a great comparison shot. When in Europe I see loads of Auris, and initially always think I am looking at a Yaris (until I see the wider fog light area). It is interesting to see just how much larger it is than the Yaris.

Very nice! How much longer is the Auris compared to the Yaris if you put them side to side? Is the Auris larger because it is a bit wider? They almost look like the same size from the photos.

Wow, I never realized there was such a size difference between the Auris and the Yaris!

Cheers! M2

Yes, the Auris is a little bit larger and wider than the Yaris! Inside you have a lot of freedom!

That's awesome! I've read that the Auris is sized somewhere between the Yaris and the U.S.-sold Matrix.

Just curious, but why is the Landkreis different on the license plates of your two cars? Do you have two different addresses in different parts of Germany?

Here in Germany every town has its own mark! We both live in Regensburg (Bavaria), it has an R for Regensburg in the flag and I have a SAD for Schwandorf because my Yaris / Vitz is insured by my father, who lives in Schwandorf! I'm just the driver!

PJ, thanks for your answer! Boy do I miss Germany. The last time I was there was in 2006. I'd like to go again, but my German is so rusty from lack of use that I'm afraid that I'll embarass myself if I try to speak it. I was once able to speak excellent German, but I've forgotten a lot of vocabulary. Nice to see that you're from Bavaria. Bavaria is a place I'd like to visit one day, though I admit that I have a lot of trouble understanding the dialect that people speak there!
