No Toyota presence in STF at the Solo Nationals

I was pretty disappointed that none of our Solo'ers(including myself) made it to the National Championship this year. Last year we only had one Toyota enter and it placed 6th with a excellent driver.

Maybe in the future we can make donations towards one driver that is doing really well and send them to Lincoln. Any thoughts?

HAHAh.. Yea. I actullly am planning on going next year definitely. I told my wife, I want to experience it just once. So count me in. I really want to compare my skills with the top dogs out there.

Its just with DragonCon being on Labor Day weekend every year, hard to take an additional week off back to back like that. I will make it work somehow.

I could have competed in HS but that's pointless and I'm not super competitive locally even when not driving against an ST. Maybe next year I will be competing in stf

At the Crows Landing Pro solo (witch was a fast high HP course)I was 3 seconds off Mike H. In the RSX....witch would put me around 16th......so, Im not "the guy" lol.

But I would like to go just for the experience also. But being located in NorCal its A $1000 total event cost for me, not gonna happen.

I would be willing to donate $100 or so dollars to whoever we decide is the best candidate!

Weather was a big issue Tues/Wed, with many classes running in damp or drying conditions. You can't compare times from different heats or days at natls, there is to much change.

The good news is there will be two Yaris at the Runoffs in Daytona in a few weeks.
