09 Hatch use's the same lights as the 06-08, but use's different face plates .
09 faceplate's are only available at the dealer's ,for know , probably until next year.

Well bought a set of foglights on ebay.. now wishing I would have just bought them at micro image

The switch is not the same size as the others in the center console. I dont feel like dremeling the console just to make a funky long shaped switch fit that will bug me when I look at it and it doesnt match the others. So I was thinking that I might try the fog light Stalk as it would be more convienent anyway. TRD sparks had it for 75 bucks. Has anyone put one of these in and could give me some advice? I have been searching posts and see that it was mentioned you just remove the old and plug in the new. Does this require me to remove the steering wheel also like you need to for the varianble wiper stalk?

Does Micro Image still sell the under the hood red 2 wire connector setup seperatly. I was looking on the site and didnt see it. I could make my own I suppose, just need crimpers and pins.. But was hoping for the convienence of a premade.

Thanks for any help .

PM Garm (CaliYaris) for the wiring kit alone. He should be able to hook you up.

As for the switch, I have an interesting story. The switch that came with my lights off ebay was a bit faulty. When I would turn them on then off then on again fast, they wouldn't come back on the second time. I'd have to leave them off for like 3 seconds first. Then they'd work again. So from a suggestion from CTScott, I tried just bridging the connection and was able to turn them on and off fast. So I replaced the stupid fog switch with a little general-use rocker on/off switch. I dremeled one of the plastic place-holders to fit the rocker switch and got it in the same spot as I had the actual fog switch (right by the e-brake). So now I can switch it on/off repeatedly fast and they come on each time. And it actually looks A LOT nicer than the big clunky fog button.
