Wheel spin
I feel that I have excessive wheel spin going uphill and on some corner exits. I have Tien SS coilovers that are adjustable set to full hard. Tire pressure in the front is set to 36 to 38 psi hot Dunlop Star Specs. Short of getting a LSD Is there anything that you can adjust to help this condition ??

try a softer suspension setting... hard suspension might be making your wheels bounce and lose traction, a softer setting may be more compliant to the road surface and keep grip better. Same story with maybe a little less tire pressure

Softening the suspension seemed to have helped. But its still an issue that needs to be sorted out.

I also have wheelspin problems exiting any corner, even downhills, even on my Goodyear slicks (21.5x8x13), bone stock motor.
I agree with less front swaybar and stiffer rear springs, but mostly the front swaybar.

In the meantime, as others have said, more rear spring and less front bar. If you have the front bar with the blue dot (24mm) try the purple bar (23mm), it helped our car rotate. http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...&postcount=749 No front bar may help in sweepers and on corner exit, but the car will be slow in transitions and slaloms.

Actually, Garm, do you know if the LSD you sell will work in my 1st gen xb transmission?

Hey guys thanks for all the updates. I can't wait for Sept 18th to try them out. Garm like Johnny said do you have or can you get a LSD for the ECHO Trans. I know he needs one for the SCION.

LSD should be cross-compatible between Yaris and 1st gen xB. It's listed as the same part number by Kaaz and others. I can get Kaaz, I can also source a TRD LSD if you want that. Or if you want the gold-plated version, get the OS Giken.
I would imagine the Echo shares the same parts too, but I cannot say with any certainty. Best to jump on the 'net and get some part numbers, or find someone who's done it.

The Echo tranny uses a 6 bolt diff. The xB I'm pretty sure uses an 8 bolt .
