Where did you get your tsurikawa in this post?

PS I like your photobucket name. One of my favorite shows of all time.

Pretty sure I ebay'd that one. I've had a few of them but I'm super picky about the size, I wanted as close to the actual thing as I could get. Having only held a real one once it was difficult, lol. I bought 4 different ones at once and my friends all bought the other ones I didn't like so I wasn't out a ton of money :)

in the 70s and 80s japanese gangs would steal them from subway trains, and hang them fom the tow hooks. the lower the hangring was, the cooler you were.

Since hangrings are all the same length, and for the most part, tow hooks are usually attached to chassis... so the closer the ring was to the ground meant your car was lowered by x amount. its more of a measurement for how low your whip is :) the lower your car is, the cooler you are!

That you are able to get that level of sheen and clarity out of a black paint job (see link from coheed's post) on our relatively inexpensive model is impressive -- you obviously take great care of it (and your 'first born' Yaris). It reminds me of some of the pictures Mazilla has posted of his black Yaris on the forum.

12/10 will be a little stiff don't you think lol. I'm trying to figure out what spring rates to get with my new coilovers that I need to order.

10/8 it is....

I have 8k front, and when i get in the car it sinks a few inches. I'm tempted to get 14k front to see if that is stiff enough.

Now I am not a small person, and so if you are a normal sized person it won't effect you too much.

Why thank you! I get down right OCD when I clean my car. I have this idea in my mind that if I treat my car like it costs some insane amount of money, it will treat me right. at least once weekly washes, twice yearly waxes with clay bar or more if needed, and I clean the interior almost nonstop lol. I've always detailed my cars. even crappy ones. I just can't handle messy vehicular devices. And it's kind of my personal therapy. I'll clean a car all day for no damn reason at all.

Steve - I want the high spring rates solely for the purpose of running extremely tight clearances. ride comfort doesn't bother me to terribly much.

Stealth photo - went to a car meet and only took one pic. we left super quick - still not sure why.
