The MT seems alot more responsive though, just me.... Way back when I bought my 07 LB, I test drove both AT and MT.... I honestly only got about 6ft when I stopped in the AT and asked for the keys to the MT... that's just me I guess..

Want to improve your gas mileage and acceleration?
Teach your right foot to "squeeze" down on the gas pedal; don't stomp down on it.
This is especially true for cars with automatic transmission.

Okay kinda a update i solved my problem. Today i was adding new windshield washer fluid to my car and was looking at my intake. And about a week ago i took it off to clean the filter. I noticed the hose from the pcv to the intake was disconected. I dont know if it fell off from the engine vibration or i forgot to reconect it when isntalling my intake =). So i have a huge leak of unmetered air that is after the maf sensor. Crazy thing is my vehicle never ran funny or idled rough except for when i would mash on the gas. Surprised my oxygen sensor didnt pick it up and set a engine code.

So if anyone is experiencing this and has a aftermarket intake i would go out and check that first =).

The delay does bother me too...I have owned mostly manual transmission cars and I also ride motorcycles and still stalled that Yaris the first couple times I got in it.

I want that Blitz controller but if something cheaper comes out before I am ready to buy I would def consider it.

I used to think I was an excellent clutch driver. then I bought this yaris. I've stalled this car more times than my metro and festiva combined and I've only had it 7 months. At first I figured it was a touchy clutch but now i blame the drive by wire. they need to build a 10th of a second delay into the dang clutch pedal so it matches the gas pedal. :-) actually, that would probably make things worse.
