Thinking about buying a 07 yaris sedan

Besides the recall for extra insulation, is there anything else to look for? Any problems with the auto transmissions or engine? anybody know the stock tire size for the basic sedan (roll up windows)? discount tire shows a 14" and a 15" tire for the 07 yaris. Thanks

If it's the basic stripper model, it's got the 14s. 15" wheels came with the option packages.

We've had our 2007 Yaris Sedan w/automatic since May 2007. Two issues:
- front wheel bearing went early. Doesn't seem to be too common
- ABS and Brake ! light lit this winter; known issue with rear wheel speed sensor/wiring harness. Car is out of warranty so this will likely be an expensive fix as the harness isn't cheap...

well, i bought one this weekend. it's a 07 sedan plain jane model with the roll up windows. barcelona red metallic with auto transmission and 58k miles. the dealer/individual bought it at a toyota motor credit auction as a repo. i paid him $6,800 for it. after i switch the title and pay taxes i'll still be under $7,400.

mine has the tan cloth interior and there are some stains. anyone have any luck getting the stains out? i have a little steam cleaner i was gonna try.

Our 07 Sedan hasn't had any issues at all... Changed the front pads a few months ago as well as the coolant... Oil changes every 3k.

Try Soilove
in your steam cleaner...

It worked well for the Arroz con Leche and beer stains the interior had when I first met my woman LMAO

You bet... there is a long list of problems listed on Toyota service bulletins....look
at them BEFORE you buy the car...especially if your vin # is below xxxxxxxxx75126293
TSB E048-07 outlines a defect that Toyota corrected in subsequent production but
chose to not correct in in service cars....When this defect causes a failure...I is
my opinion that it will...it will cost $1200 to repair.....this happened to me....
