2005 Yaris HELP....

Hi, I'm new to this so I appoligise if I have posted in wrong section.

I have 2005 Yaris 1.3 petrol. And when battery was flat the terminals where crossed and have blew the ECU. So I've went and got new ECU and key with transponder ring. Changed all the fuses that where blew. But car still won't start. Fuel pump is running but there is no spark. Have tested power to coils and injectors and I'm not getting any???

Is this an immobiliser issue or is there something I'm missing?

When I changed ECU I changed keys and responder ring? Anything I'm missing?

Any help really appreciated.

Thanks

The new ECU has to be programmed for the new key.

So, the ECU, key and the transponder key amplifier (the ring around the ignition switch) are all from the same Yaris (and it was known to be working when it was disassembled)?

Also, do you have normal keys or the entry and start system? If you have the entry and start system, the body ECU is involved as well.

If you do not, the things I would check are:

1. 15A AM2 fuse under the bonnet
2. Check the coil packs to make sure they haven't been damaged
3. Check for +12 volts on the brown wire of the #1 coil pack with the ignition switch on, to make sure the IG2 relay is working.
