when you say you tried to replace it, do you mean you put the old ones back in after the new ones didn't work?

there is no light from any corner of the car when you flip the hazards?
highly unlikely that you popped a fuse as the bulb itself acts like a fuse to begin with, but if you reinstalled the original bulbs then yeah check the fuses. |

It's the 10A one labeled "TAIL" in the fuse panel that is up under the dash (i.e. the one you put your head on the brake pedal to see).

A 2057 is a bayonet mount and a 7440A is a wedge mount.
Out of curiosity, how did you install it? |

The lighting circuits are well protected, so I would almost guarantee that it's the fuse.

With duct tape and bailing wire.
Just trying to add some humor. S.R. |

The 10A one at the bottom left of your picture is the tail light fuse if you are working on a liftback.
By the way, I'm not digging that white wire stuffed in the meter fuse. I don't think it's part of your current problem, but it's not a good way of doing things... |

There's no fuse in the other place that it would be for a certain config of sedan, so that must be it. Did you pull it and check it closely (ideally with an ohm meter)?
