Ralley Style LED Lights on Yaris

Whats up guys! Didn't see too many posts about hooking some of these up, so decided to throw one out there in case anyone wants to do the same. For my Third Gen Yaris I really wanted to go with the ralley look, so I decided to add some LED lights and a Bumper Bar.

For the Bumper Mounted LEDs I went with this Universal License Plate Bumper Mount which can be found all over Ebay

Instead of just using the actual license plate bolts to mount it, I used the 4 corner holes of the bar plate and drilled corresponding holes to the bumper. Then add bolts with washers to make it more secure.

For the Hood Mounted LEDs I went with these Universal Hood Mounts, also found all over Ebay

I just used the actual mounting C clamps, I removed the Risers

To control the Lights I went with the ACC Trigger Control Module. What I really like about this module is that the switches it comes with are wireless, so no need to run a harness through the firewall

For the bumper lights I ran the wires through the grill. For the Hood lights I ran the cables in the hood hinges themselves so they stay tucked away with the hood closed.

And Ta Da! Final Product. This look is definitely not for everyone, but I drive through a lot of nothing sometimes and the extra lights help

I'm not a fan of hood lights... but you should've took some big ass round lights if you wanted a more rally style.. now it looks like you just installed Jeep lights on a Yaris XD

Nice, lots of lumens, definitely won't tax your electrical system. Osram LEDFOG201 are available to fill out the factory location with optional Toyota mounting brackets.

Like ACKING said, round would have been even better looking, and I would have tons with a lower profile but wider spread hood lights (aero dynamics and less prone to get snag when cleaning). A rally style spoiler would look awesome on the car too.

All being said, I like your setup. The wireless switch box is neat and I think you'd done a great job thinking it all out. Thanks for sharing.

At first I was going to side with some of the folks here and lean on the "meh, no" side. BUT, it serves your purpose and it's your style and that's what makes you happy, I can dig that. I like it more and more each time I look at it. It's different and unique, and will light up a mastodon if and when you come across one crossing over the 635 .

Thanks for the feedback guys! I was thinking of doing round HIDs (I have 2 9" ones that will turn night into day), But I got these for pretty cheap and they are pretty light. I really want to add a spoiler, but cant find any for this bodystyle!!! All the ones ive seen are for 2nd gens

Cool!
Did you have to remove the bumper to install it?

I didn't, I removed the plastic skid plate and reached behind.

I am doing my own bumper bracket using a aluminium L piece. Looks good so far. Did it because of your car :)
